No, dry skin is not genetic. It is caused by seasonal changes, incorrect product use and environmental factors.
Are there any treatments you recommend for dry, winter skin?
One of our most popular winter skin treatments are medi-aesthetic peels. All face peels work by removing the outermost layer of dermis (skin) and accelerating your skin cell turnover. The treatment does literally causes your skin to peel. Winter the ideal season to start your series of medi-aesthetic peels as it is easier to avoid the sun during the cooler months.
Our High Performance Microdermabrasion is also an amazing treatment for dry skin types as during the treatment both chemical and mechanical exfoliation techniques are used to help remove any build-up of dead skin cells on the skin’s surface. This will also even out skin tone and assist with stimulating the production of collagen within your skin.
