DAY OF CONSULTATION
Advise our doctors and nurses if you are taking blood thinning medications (such as aspirin, warfarin or clopidogrel etc), regardless of whether you are expecting to have treatment or just a consultation.
A topical numbing cream will be applied 30 minutes prior to treatment.
24 hours Prior
Do not drink alcoholic beverages.
7 days Prior
Avoid chemical peels and needling.
LED Light Therapy may be used prior to treatment to help minimise swelling and bruising.
Immediately Post Treatment
Apply a cool compress for 15 minutes to an hour if required.
Take paracetamol as needed.
Gently wash the treated area after 4-5 hours.
Avoid exercise, saunas and heat.
Drink plenty of fluids, avoid alcohol and hot drinks.
To avoid excessive chewing it’s recommended to eat soft foods for 48 hours post treatment.
24 Hours Post
Avoid sudden movements of the facial muscles for 24-48 hours.
Sleep face up for 48-72 hours.
Avoid using makeup for 48 hours.
2 weeks Post
Visit your cosmetic injector for a review appointment.
Do not massage facial area for 1 month post-treatment.
Avoid lower face cosmetic injectables, needling, microdermabrasion and chemical peels in the area.
Avoid Fractional RF treatments 12-weeks following treatment.
