As we navigate the increasing COVID cases across Australia, you may find delays in your appointment or requests to reschedule.ย Please be patient with our clinic teams as they are doing everything they can to service your treatment as quickly as possible.ย This is an ongoing and fluid situation that is out of our control and we are taking all precautions to minimise any disruption.
Our teams are here to support you on your skin, laser and injectable journey and are doing everything they can.ย We do ask that you please be considerate with our staff while they work through the best solution for you.

Please note: At this stage, some of clinics remain closed due to unforeseen impacts of the COVID-19 lockdown. All clients will be contacted with further information and updates as things progress. We appreciate your patience during this time.
For our cosmetic injectables, our doctors recommend you wait 3-days post your COVID vaccination for any anti-wrinkle treatments and 2-weeks post your COVID vaccination for any dermal filler treatments.
For our or skin penetration treatments (such as Micro-needling, Meso-needling and Fractional RF) our doctors recommend you wait 3-days post your COVID vaccination before undergoing your treatment.
All other treatments can be performed at any time, given the client is not experiencing any flu-like symptoms.
As per the current New South Wales and Victoria Government Public Health Order it is a requirement that all clients attending our clinics in NSW and VIC have received both of their COVID-19 vaccinations or hold a valid exemption. Proof of these will be required before entry.
If you book into an appointment and attend this without meeting the necessary Government health requirements for entry, you will forfeit your treatment and it will be classified as a “no show” as per our cancellation policy.
Clients who are under 18 years old, must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.ย It is then required that as per the current New South Wales Government Public Health Order that the accompanying parent/guardian has received both of their COVID-19 vaccinations or hold a valid exemption. Proof of these will be required before entry.
Yes. We are abiding by all health requirements from the state and federal governments including floor markings to help maintain a 1.5 metre distance in the reception area and waiting rooms, as well as a 10-20 person maximum in clinic (depending on local regulations). Please attend your appointment alone wherever possible to help minimise the number of people in clinic. During your treatment you will be in a room with only you and your technician or medical expert who will be wearing protective equipment, including a face mask and gloves and practicing safe distancing wherever possible.
To assist us in maintaining safe social distancing, please attend your appointment alone. If you are new to the treatment, arrive just 10 minutes before your appointment and if you have had the treatment before, arrive just 5 minutes before your appointment.
We want to reassure you that at Australian Skin Clinics, all our staff are highly trained through our national education academy, which ensures we uphold best practice treatments and safety control protocols at all times. All team members have completed the Australian Governmentโs COVID-19 Infection Control Training, as well as holding the most stringent qualifications for their respective dermal, laser or medical field.
You will continue to see us maintain the same safe environment as we have always done, and also meet new health and hygiene standards by:
- Temperature checks for both clinic staff and clients
- Wearing face masks and PPE
- Cleaning all surfaces and equipment with medical-grade disinfectant between every client
- Providing hand sanitiser to clients in waiting rooms
- Sterilising all stations, rooms and floors daily
- Safe distancing of 1.5 metres in all waiting areas
- Following a strict hand washing protocol using anti-bacterial liquid before, during and after every treatment
- Following strict sterilisation protocols on all of our equipment, including high pressure heat, no touch techniques and complete item separation
- 1:1 client and technician in treatment room
- Wearing new gloves for the duration of every treatment and changing regularly
- Maintaining clinic capacity ratios
The following are mandatory requirements for your visit.
We ask you to help us maintain a safe environment for everyone by:
- Providing accurate and up to-date-contact details for your client file
- Complete our COVID-19 questionnaire on arrival via QR code
- Wear a mask where required by law
- Have your temperature taken
- Attending your appointment alone to allow for safe social distancing in clinic
- Arriving 10 minutes before your appointment if you are new to the treatment
- Arriving just 5 minutes before your appointment if repeating a treatment
- Rescheduling your appointment and staying home if you are showing any symptoms or signs of illness
Please note: Clients that do not comply with the mandatory safety requirements to maintain our COVID-19 may be refused entry and/or asked to reschedule. This will be treated as a ‘change of mind’ and refunds will unfortunately not be available.

Missed Appointments
If you had an appointment scheduled during our closure period, our team will contact you to reschedule within the first few weeks of opening. Please bear with us as we work through a high volume of re-bookings!
Future Appointments
If you have a future appointment for after we reopen โ it is still there! Please keep an eye out for your confirmation email or text. These appointments will remain booked unless otherwise notified. If your treatment falls under a restricted service, we will call you to reschedule.
Making a Booking
Please be patient as we work through all booking requests. To assist us with this process, please use the contact form on our website and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Online bookings are unavailable at this stage.
While services remain restricted due to Government health orders, we are happy to extend all current pre-paid services.ย This means you can pick up where you left off as soon as government mandates are lifted. Victorian Clinics only: If you have recently purchased a series of treatments during June or July 2020, we will be extending your package by the time period of the recent closure. This means you will have plenty of time to redeem your services upon our reopening!
Donโt worry, any results you have already achieved won’t be reversed.ย However naturally, any delay in your treatment schedule may delay further results. Once clinics reopen, our team of skilled laser technicians will review your treatment plan and timings to ensure you get back on track and achieving the best results.
