How it works
CoolSculpting® uses cryolipolysis a process developed by Harvard scientists to freeze fat cells underneath the skin to permanently eliminate them without affecting the surrounding tissues.
During treatment, the CoolSculpting® applicator will use controlled cooling to lower the temperature of the fat cells to the precise point at which they become damaged.
Your body then naturally metabolises the damaged fat cells and removes them for good.
After the applicators are removed, your technician will massage the treated area to assist in breaking up the frozen fat cells to get them ready for elimination by the body’s lymphatic system.
At six weeks you should start to see results, with final results visible around 12 weeks after treatment.

During Treatment
During the treatment, you will typically feel intense cold for the first few minutes. As the treated area numbs, this will become bearable. You may also feel some pulling or suction with some applicators.
After Treatment
Following treatment, you may feel some tingling. Your CoolSculpting® body technician will then massage the area for 2 minutes.
Clients may experience redness and firmness in the area for a few hours following treatment. Some transient blanching and/or mild bruising may present around the edges of the treatment area. Some tingling and stinging may also be experienced.
Most clients can resume their usual everyday activities immediately following their CoolSculpting® treatment
Avoid laser hair removal and waxing to the treatment area for 2 weeks prior.
For CoolSculpting® on the chin only, please avoid injectables in the face and neck are for 2 weeks prior.
On day of treatment, come hydrated and eat prior.
CoolSculpting® is a non-surgical treatment, so most clients can resume normal activities immediately following treatment.
Light exercise, such as walking is recommended on the day of treatment. Heavy gym workouts are not recommended. Increase water intake to help flush toxins out of the body for up to 3 days. Constant hydration is important. Compression garments can be worn in the treatment area.
