Anti-wrinkle injections personalised to you
You deserve more laughter, less laugh lines.
With anti-wrinkle injections, our experienced doctors and registered nurses can create a natural-looking reduction in lines and wrinkles – leaving you with a softer and brighter appearance.
The most commonly requested areas for anti-wrinkle injections are the dynamic lines around the eyes and forehead. However, they can also be used to minimise the lines around the mouth, nose, smooth the chin, relax the jawline and neck bands and add life to the brow. One treatment usually lasts up to four months, leaving all your friends saying… “you’re lookin’ good!”
Benefits of getting anti-wrinkle injections.
Soften fine lines & wrinkles – Create a natural-looking reduction in expression lines such as frown lines, smile lines and crows feet
How anti-wrinkle injections work?
Anti-wrinkle injections can achieve a tighter, smoother appearance.
Anti-wrinkle injections block the chemical signal that the brain sends to the muscle telling the muscle to contract. This means that when the brain says ‘squint, it’s sunny’, the muscles are saying ‘I can’t hear you’. In effect the treatment relaxes and lifts the muscle, softening the look of lines and giving a tighter, smoother appearance.
It generally takes three to 10 days after the treatment for the maximum results to develop fully and re-treatment should not occur within that period. The effect can last up to four months, although with regular treatments it may be possible to reduce the dosage.
Optimising your results
Let’s work together to see the changes you deserve.
Advise our doctors and nurses if you are taking blood-thinning medications, regardless of whether you are expecting to have treatment or just a consultation.
Maximise facial activity for half an hour after your treatment (such as frowning, raising your eyebrows and squinting) and avoid lying down horizontal for 4 hours. Avoid exercise for 24 hours and do not have facial treatments, rub or massage the treated area.

Anti-wrinkle Injections FAQs
What areas can be treated with anti-wrinkle injections?
The most common treatment areas for wrinkle reduction are crow’s feet (lines around the outer eyes), glabella (between the eyes) and the forehead. Other areas including ‘bunny lines’ (lines on the nose), jaw-line, chin and neck may also be treated and at Australian Skin Clinics, we have experienced practitioners who treat even the most complex areas. Muscle relaxants can even be used to treat excessive sweating and jaw grinding.
How much do anti wrinkle injections cost?
Our everyday price for anti-wrinkle injections is $3.95 per unit. The number of units required will depend on the treatment area and other factors unique to you. We recommend coming in for a free consultation with one of our registered nurse injectors for an accurate assessment and quote.
How long do anti wrinkle injections last?
The effect can last up to four months, although with regular treatments it may be possible to reduce the dosage.
How long do anti wrinkle injections take to work?
It generally takes three to 10 days after the treatment for the maximum to develop fully and re-treatment should not occur within that period.
Can I have anti-wrinkle while pregnant or breastfeeding?
It is not recommended to receive injectable treatments while pregnant or breastfeeding, as the risks are uncertain. At Australian Skin Clinics we are unable to treat you with cosmetic injectables if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, due to the lack of information available about the effect on the fetus. For more information please call us on 1300303014 and request to speak with one of our medically-trained registered doctor or nurse injectors.
Can I have anti-wrinkle injectables if I'm under 18?
We do not treat anyone under the age of 18 for cosmetic injectables. We do offer a wide-range of skin treatments suitable for your age group and we welcome you to visit our clinic with a parent or guardian to discuss any of these options.
Do you offer discounts on anti-wrinkle injections?
Due to strict regulations set by the Therapeutic Goods Act (TGA) it is against the law to discount an injectable treatment. Discounted treatments should raise alarm bells when you are choosing which clinic to trust your treatment to. The skill of the injector is more important than price. An efficient injector will achieve maximum result with minimum product.
