What results can I expect?

Bio Remodelling is a medically scripted treatment and can be performed by an Australian Skin Clinics Cosmetic Injector once an in-clinic consultation has been completed to ensure suitability and a provide consultation with a prescribing doctor. To achieve maximum results, Bio Remodelling is injected just under the skin on each side of the face in five pre-determined locations.

What is the difference between Bio Remodelling and Dermal Fillers?

Bio Remodelling does not add volume to the face and is not a dermal filler. Its role is to hydrate deeply into the skin and improve skin resilience and flexibility. Containing a natural product that absorbs water Bio Remodelling keeps the skin hydrated, however it will not replace lost volume as a dermal filler will.

Pre + Post Treatment Care

Before starting your treatment, you will need a consultation with an aesthetic nurse who will conduct an online consultation with the Prescribing Practitioner. From the consultation, an assessment of your treatment plan and prescription will be completed.

Please advise your aesthetic nurse if you are taking any blood-thinning medications (such as aspirin, warfarin etc.).

Avoid chemical peels and microneedling for 7 days prior to treatment.

Aftercare recommendations vary depending on treatment plans. Your Aesthetic Nurse will advise on any aftercare recommendations suitable to you.

Is REJURAN® safe if I am allergic to salmon or fish?

REJURAN® contains polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA. While the material is highly purified, there is still a potential risk for individuals with a known allergy to fish or seafood.

If you have a history of salmon or fish allergies, it’s important to disclose this during your consultation. Your practitioner may advise against treatment or explore alternative options that are more suitable for you.

What makes REJURAN® different?

Are there any side effects?

This treatment requires no down time. 24 hours before treatment it is advisable to avoid aspirin, alcohol, and anti-inflammatory medication. Side effects are uncommon but can include redness, small bumps, bruising and mild tenderness post treatment.

During the first 12 hours post treatment we recommend avoiding make up, 2 days post avoid alcohol and vigorous exercise. For 14 days after treatment extreme temperatures (hot or cold) should be avoided.
