At Australian Skin Clinics we offer two types of LED Light Therapy to target different concerns and levels of the skin.
LED – Acne
Perfect for treating acne by eliminating acne causing bacteria and reducing the activity of the sebaceous (oil) glands in your skin. LED – Acne uses blue light and works on the epidermis aka the outermost layer of your skin.
LED – Rejuvenate
For overall skin health and healing, LED – Rejuvenate is your go-to. Using yellow or red light, this treatment works on your epidermis and dermis to promote healing and collagen production.

Pre + Post Treatment Care
During Treatment
During the treatment, you will wear block-out goggles to protect your eyes and will lie under LED light panels. Your skin will feel warm as the light works, this is normal.
After Treatment
Fitzpatrick IV+ skin types may experience temporary bronzing. This is normal and will dissipate within 48 hours.
LED Light Therapy does not require any pre-treatment preparation.

No. There isn’t any downtime following a standalone LED treatment. This quick and effective treatment can be done in your lunch break or before events.
If LED Light therapy is an add-on to another treatment, there may be associated downtime to your other treatment. Your technician will discuss this with you during your consultation.
LED Light Therapy – Rejuvenate: Stimulates collagen and elastin development and increases the skins blood flow. It also assists with reducing pain, erythema, swelling and bruising.
LED Light Therapy – Acne: Encourages oxygen production in the epidermis to kill acne-causing bacteria and reduce the appearance of acne, pustules and breakouts.
