Emma Rahe

Emma Rahe is a highly experienced Registered Nurse and clinical governance leader with over 18 years in the aesthetics industry. Originally trained in the UK, Emma began her career in 2007 before moving into aesthetics in 2008 with The Harley Medical Group. She became a Nurse Prescriber in 2010 and has since built extensive experience across dermatology, vascular and plastic surgery.
Since relocating to Australia in 2013, Emma has held senior clinical roles, including Clinical Specialist at Galderma, where she spent three years deepening her expertise in aesthetic medicine. She has also contributed to the industry academically, with a published clinical paper in the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing in 2017.
Emma joined Laser Lounge in 2016 as Clinical Nurse Manager, playing a pivotal role in its evolution prior to its acquisition by SILK Laser Clinics in 2018. She progressed into the role of General Manager Clinical Governance, where she has been instrumental in establishing and leading a comprehensive clinical governance framework. This includes developing clinical policies and protocols, implementing training pathways for nurses, and building and mentoring a national team of clinical leaders.
In her current role, Emma leads clinical governance strategy across the business, working closely with state health departments and regulatory bodies to help shape industry standards. She has overseen major regulatory advancements, including the establishment of SILK clinics in Tasmania as fully accredited day procedure centres, and the introduction of new models of medical oversight in Queensland in response to evolving legislation. Emma also leads the medical team, including prescribers, and continues to drive best practice in clinical safety, compliance and patient care.
