Fraxel Laser
Remember the days of smooth, radiant and clear skin?
Sadly, the harsh extremes of the Australian sunshine, our ever air-conditioned indoors and ‘go-go-go’ lives eventually affects us all and has our skin ageing faster than ever. Fraxel laser resurfaces the skin to reduce wrinkles, acne scarring, pigmentation and to improve skin quality and texture on the entire body and face, and most skin types (although very dark skin is not treatable).
Fraxel laser technology can help reverse the visible signs of ageing, assisting you in looking younger, fresher and feeling the way you deserve to feel! Only available at select Australian Skin Clinics.

Rejuvenate the skin – Fraxel Laser can take years off your appearance and rejuvenate your skin.
How it works
The changes you’ll see with Fraxel laser are gradual, not drastic or scary.
A Fraxel laser treatment stimulates collagen and elastin production, and in doing so, restores a more youthful look. By penetrating deep into the dermal layer, the treatment stimulates new collagen formation, firming the skin and reducing lines and scares.
Fraxel laser can assist in resurfacing your skin and correcting imperfections. This means improved texture, more even skin tone and smother skin – all with minimal risks and without discomfort or prolonged downtime of other procedures.
Optimising your results
Let’s work together to see the changes you deserve.
We recommend one to three treatments for best results, however this may vary between clients. Severe scarring may require three or more treatments. In the lead up to your treatment, ensure you’re protecting your skin from sun exposure and avoiding solariums and spray tans for at least two weeks prior.

Fraxel faqs
What does Fraxel feel like?
Clients often describe the sensation of Fraxel treatment as “hot prickles”. In order to reduce any discomfort, your technician will apply some numbing cream to the area to be treated, and cold air is used during the treatment. Redness will start to diminish and alleviate, similar to sunburn, with 2 to 3 days.
How long before a big event can I have Fraxel?
Schedule your treatment 3 weeks prior to any events or functions, this is the best timeframe to ensure the only evidence of your Fraxel treatment is your fantastic looking skin.
What can I expect post treatment?
After your Fraxel laser session, treat your skin similar to as you would had you been sunburnt, in order to combat any redness, swelling or slight flaking of dry skin. Avoiding all sun exposure, keeping the skin hydrated and clean are important after care. Mineral make up can be used to help cover your initial post-treatment skin, although be sure to ask your technician for any tips on how best to apply it.
When can I return to exercising after Fraxel?
Avoid exercising for at least one week after treatment, and this includes swimming. You’ll need to try and avoid sweating for this week too, to do so, avoid any steam rooms, hot showers, and sleeping directly on your face. It is also best to avoid alcohol for at least two days.
