How It Works 

This daytime brightening serum combines stabilised vitamin C with ferulic acid for enhanced potency and stability. Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid) inhibits tyrosinase, the enzyme responsible for melanin production, while stimulating collagen synthesis for improved skin bounce. Ferulic acid doubles vitamin C's photoprotection and extends its stability. Glabridin, derived from liquorice root, provides additional brightening through a different pathway, ensuring comprehensive pigmentation control. HylaTech™ maintains optimal hydration for maximum vitamin C efficacy.

Vitamin C actually provides photoprotection, but always follow with UV Defiance SPF50+. 

How do I know if it’s still active?

The serum should remain clear to pale yellow. Deep yellowing indicates oxidation.
