How It Works 

This brightening cleanser harnesses the power of alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) to provide gentle chemical exfoliation during the cleansing process. Lactic acid, with its larger molecular size, works on the skin's surface to dissolve dead skin cell bonds whilst maintaining hydration. Mandelic acid, with an even larger molecular structure, provides gentle exfoliation suitable for sensitive skin. Phytic acid acts as both an exfoliant and antioxidant, helping to prevent post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. The HylaTech™ technology ensures these acids work effectively without compromising the skin's moisture barrier.

Application Method 

  1. Wet hands with lukewarm water 
  2. Dispense 1-2 pumps into palms 
  3. Massage onto face in circular motions for 45-60 seconds 
  4. Focus on areas of uneven texture 
  5. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry 

Frequency 

  • Morning: To brighten and prep skin for the day 
  • Evening: To remove makeup and reveal radiance 
  • Start 3x weekly if new to acids, build to daily use

Can I use this to remove eye makeup?

Yes, this cleanser is gentle enough for the eye area. However, we recommend using Thirstee Hydrating Cleanser (our micellar water) as your first cleanse for eye makeup removal, followed by this as your second cleanse. 

Will this make my skin photosensitive?

AHAs can increase sun sensitivity. Always follow with UV Defiance SPF50+ during the day.
